Meet Our Massage Therapists

Since graduating from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 2011, Rina has worked extensively in sports and medical massage and loves doing pre-natal as well. She is certified in Eastern and Western Bodywork, Russian Sports Massage, Injury Treatment, Shiatsu Massage, Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology, Pre-natal and Cranial Massage. Her work has been praised as effective and healing. She recently relocated here from NYC with her husband and is very happy with the water sports and hiking that the Great Northwest provides. Rina is a provider with Regence, Premera, Lifewise, Aetna, Cigna, Corvel, Great West and L& I.

Seren is a graduate of The Soma Institute recognized by the International Association of Structural Integrators and a State and National Massage licensing program. This means that not only is she trained in Deep Tissue, Myofacial Release, Intra-oral massage and Swedish massage, she is also a certified Soma practitioner. Soma is a series (usually 10-12) sessions of fascial bodywork that releases and re-educates deep tissues and postures within your body. The technique might be compared to Rolfing. She found the results from Soma were monumental and too exciting not to share with others. It's gratifying to her when patients tell her of results like: increased energy, better balance, greater athletic ability, less pain and faster recovery from injuries.

Vincenzo has been a licensed massage therapist since 2008. He is an active member of the Washington Sports Massage Team and is nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). His treatments incorporate a variety of modalities. They are individualized to treat injuries, help prevent them and designed to restore and maintain optimal health. Vincenzo is a Yi Ren Qigong teacher (2 year program at the Institute of Qigong and Integrative Medicine). On a personal note, he is an experienced soccer player (30 years) and more than fifteen years in other sports disciplines.

Francine graduated from the Soma Institute of Neuromuscular Integration in 2017.  Her sessions include an assessment of your physical condition and a plan that is individualized to address abnormal movement patterns with the goal of improving range of motion and of course to decrease pain and stiffness.

She's a delightful person and sincere in her passion for helping others improve their quality of life through Soma technique.  For those of you who have worked with Serendipity, Francine?s approach and techniques will be familiar to you. Unfortunately, her availability will be limited here as she is also an administrator for the Seattle Public Schools Special Education Department.

Lucie graduated from Renton Technical College where she honed the skills to perform both gentle and medium pressure massage. Gentle would be considered: Swedish Massage, Prenatal, Lymphatic Clearing for Head and Neck, Medium would be: Deep Tissue, Sport Massage, Trigger Point Release, Passive Stretching Techniques and Acupressure Medical Massage.

Lucie loves to combine Swedish Massage with Trigger Point Release. She is passionate about massage because she loves to see the results in her clients. She shares her positive energy so that her clients can feel relaxed and re-balanced. This allows them to feel better with renewed sense of well-being and self-care.

What makes her massage unique? Lucie said: " I listen carefully to my client?s needs and address those areas directly first. This helps them feel more relaxed and assists in balancing their mind-body connection throughout the massage."

Jen has a passion for healing through intuitive, therapeutic touch, something she discovered early on when her father would come home from a particularly stressful day at work and ask her to massage his shoulders.  He would ask her what she was doing and why, and she enjoyed including him in what she was doing.  This instilled in her the belief that involving the client in their own healthcare process not only heightens their experience, but also greatly improves the results gained from each session.

Jen focuses primarily on Deep Tissue, Muscle Specific work, and Structural and Myofascial Release Therapy.  Each session is dictated by the client and what the clients' tissues are saying, bringing unique challenges to the table every time.

Jen delights in tackling these challenges, learning as much from the client as she is educating them.

She is deeply honored and grateful to be a part of a healthcare team that has the common goal of improving ones' quality of life, one client at a time, in a natural and holistic way.

Meet Mario!  Born and raised in beautiful Seattle, he knew from a young age that he wanted to be a massage therapist.  After a car accident in 2011 he recovered with the help of physical therapy, massage and chiropractic care. Receiving treatment for his injuries grew his passion for helping others and he ultimately enrolled in the 1000 hour massage program at Cortiva.

After 4 years of practical experience, he returned to his alma mater to teach anatomy, injury management and massage technique while managing a massage clinic. His massage style uses a mix of deep tissue, injury management and relaxation techniques that are well suited for those with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain.

When Mario is not doing massage, he enjoys hiking in the forests, gardening, landscaping, reading, playing guitar and playing video games. He also enjoys collecting semi-precious stones, crystals, and fossils!

Her happy smile speaks volumes about her. With 20 + years experience, you can trust she will take good care of you.  With all her years, she continues to approach each massage session with a goal of healing muscles. She specializes in Swedish and deep tissue massage.  Arlene has lived on the Lake for nearly 40 years!
