Jen

Jen

Jen has a passion for healing through intuitive, therapeutic touch, something she discovered early on when her father would come home from a particularly stressful day at work and ask her to massage his shoulders.  He would ask her what she was doing and why, and she enjoyed including him in what she was doing.  This instilled in her the belief that involving the client in their own healthcare process not only heightens their experience, but also greatly improves the results gained from each session.

Jen focuses primarily on Deep Tissue, Muscle Specific work, and Structural and Myofascial Release Therapy.  Each session is dictated by the client and what the clients' tissues are saying, bringing unique challenges to the table every time.

Jen delights in tackling these challenges, learning as much from the client as she is educating them.

She is deeply honored and grateful to be a part of a healthcare team that has the common goal of improving ones' quality of life, one client at a time, in a natural and holistic way.

Mario

Mario

Meet Mario!  Born and raised in beautiful Seattle, he knew from a young age that he wanted to be a massage therapist.  After a car accident in 2011 he recovered with the help of physical therapy, massage and chiropractic care. Receiving treatment for his injuries grew his passion for helping others and he ultimately enrolled in the 1000 hour massage program at Cortiva.

After 4 years of practical experience, he returned to his alma mater to teach anatomy, injury management and massage technique while managing a massage clinic. His massage style uses a mix of deep tissue, injury management and relaxation techniques that are well suited for those with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain.

When Mario is not doing massage, he enjoys hiking in the forests, gardening, landscaping, reading, playing guitar and playing video games. He also enjoys collecting semi-precious stones, crystals, and fossils!  Contracted with Premera

William John Poll, LMT ( License #MA60004130 ) is excited to return to Eastlake Chiropractic & Massage Center!  He is a 2008 graduate of a 1,000 hour Brenneke and Cortiva Institute of Massage curriculum, where he also served as a Teaching Assistant for two years.  Previous experience includes many years and a variety of roles in allopathic and natural medicine, and as an essential frontline worker in assisted living residential care during the COVID-19 pandemic.

His approach to massage is treatment focused, region specific, individually created to reduce pain and induce relaxation, while increasing both function and flexibility.  Your session will be interactive at times, and will likely include a postural and range of motion assessment specific to your needs and treatment goals.  Techniques include myofascial release, tender and trigger point release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, deep tissue, Swedish massage, active and passive stretching, and more.  Recent continued education from Pacific Northwest School of Massage includes deep tissue for the shoulder; the effects of stress on the Neuroendocrine system and the benefits of massage for this system; and WA State law, ethics, and boundaries pertaining to massage.  Future continued education includes Craniosacral Therapy.

At this time, scheduling is available for region-specific and treatment focused massage. Please schedule with one of his accomplished colleagues if you are seeking a full-body relaxation or spa-like experience.
